The Hershey Lions Club recently honored Hershey High School senior Disha Patel with a $1,000 scholarship through the Hershey Lions Club Foundation.

The club presents a scholarship each year to a student who not only exhibits academic excellence, but who is also a model volunteer through works of service. Scholarship committee chairperson Jo Kinkel shared that one of Disha's focus areas has been Mini-THON in support of the Four Diamonds.
