Hershey Library Posts Upcoming Schedule

The Adult Silent Book Group will meet on Wednesday, Feb. 2, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Mount Gretna Craft Brewery, 2701 Horseshoe Pike, Palmyra. There are no assigned books and no required sharing. The meeting will provide an opportunity for book enthusiasts to read silently without interruptions. Attendees should bring their own book, and they may order a beverage or food. Attendees must be at least age 21.

Storyteller, author, and recording artist Bil Lepp will present family-friendly tall tales and stories in a virtual program on Saturday, Feb. 12, from 10 to 11 a.m. Lepp is a five-time winner of the West Virginia Liars Contest, the host of the History Channel's "Man vs. History" series, the occasional host of NPR's internationally syndicated "Mountain Stage" and a contributing columnist to the West Virginia Gazette-Mail.

Neill Hartley will portray showman P.T. Barnum in a program at the library on Saturday, Feb. 26, from 2 to 3 p.m. Barnum was known for his entertaining hoaxes and for being a founder of the circus that eventually became Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
