The ELANCO Library, 11 Chestnut Drive, New Holland, will offer a variety of activities to the community. For more details, visit http://www.elancolibrary.org or call 717-354-0525.

Preschool Story Time will be offered on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. for children ages 3 to 6. Siblings are welcome.

Toddler Thursdays will be held on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. for children ages 1 to 3. Siblings are welcome. All adults are expected to participate and encourage the children.

The library will offer Engineering Challenge: Natural Disasters on Thursday, March 24, at 6:30 p.m. in the Children's Library. The program is geared for elementary-age students, but all children are welcome. Participants will be challenged to design, build, and test prototypes intended to stand up to earthquakes and hurricanes.

STEM Saturday will be offered on March 26. Children of all ages are welcome to drop in to the Children's Library any time between 1 and 4 p.m. to enjoy STEM activities and to meet the library's new youth services librarian.

The Buckhill Sleuths' Book Discussion will focus on "The Family Upstairs" by Lisa Jewell on Monday, March 28, at 2 p.m. The meeting will take place via Zoom.

Community members may support the ELANCO Library by purchasing an item from the library's Amazon Charity Wishlist. Items include books, office supplies and craft supplies. Municipal and state funding covers 40% of the library's annual budget, and the organization is responsible for raising the other 60%. Purchasing an item from the list will help the library to stretch its dollars further.
