Manheim Township Police Officer Natalie Littlehale and the Manheim Township Public Library will offer a book discussion of "Tangled Up in Blue: Policing the American City" by Rosa Brooks on Saturday, Nov. 6, from 2 to 3 p.m. at the library, 595 Granite Run Drive, Lancaster.

In the book, Brooks details her 18 months as a part-time patrol officer in the poorest high-crime neighborhoods in Washington, D.C. The book and audiobook are available to borrow or download through OverDrive from the library. Community members are invited to read the book and come to the event ready to discuss it.
