"Let It Snow" Exhibit Slated

"Let It Snow," a new exhibit sponsored by the Hummelstown Area Historical Society, will be staged at the 1908 History House, 32 W. Main St., Hummelstown. The biggest snowstorms in the Hummelstown area's history, as well as the ways residents coped with past winters, will be presented.

The exhibit will be on display during Holiday Happenings on Sunday, Dec. 4, from 1 to 4 p.m. The exhibit will also be on view during open houses from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sundays, Nov. 27 and Dec. 11.

The show will feature 150 old and new photographs of residents, local scenes, and events in the area during past winters. Winter scenes designed as dioramas by Richard Hartwell from the society's collection will also be featured.
