Summer campers at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool at Lancaster Labs in Leola recently donated more than $500 to the Ukraine War Refugee Aid Fund, organized by the Bethany Slavic Church. Campers worked together to bake cookies and cupcakes and held a bake sale at the school.

The donation will help provide evacuation, temporary housing and accommodations for Ukrainian refugees in Poland, Romania and other nations. Through this initiative, campers learned the importance of spreading kindness and helping those in need.
