Additionally, the center is accepting new and gently used coats and blankets to benefit the Harrisburg family. Donations may be dropped off in the box in the lobby vestibule.

Friday Flix will be offered at 1 p.m. on select Fridays, with "Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris" starring Lesley Manville on Nov. 11 and "Meet Me in St. Louis" on Dec. 16.

A hearing screening will take place on Nov. 11 from 9 a.m. to noon, courtesy of Beltone. Free hearing aid cleaning will also be available.

Friday Socials will be held on select Fridays at 11:30 a.m., and there is a cost, with the meal catered by Country Meadows. On Nov. 18, there will be a meal of roast turkey, stuffing, green bean casserole, tossed salad, and pumpkin pie, and there will be entertainment by JCM Band. Registration is required by Tuesday, Nov. 15. The meal on Dec. 9 will feature baked ham, candied sweet potatoes, baked corn, chocolate layer cake, and carrot, pineapple, and raisin salad. Entertainment will be by the Lower Dauphin Chamber Singers, and registration must be made by Tuesday, Dec. 6.

Tech Time with Kim will be offered on Friday, Dec. 2, at 1 p.m. and will focus on contacts on iPhones and iPads. People may stay afterward for one-on-one assistance.

The book club will discuss "Horse" by Geraldine Brooks at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 28, and "The Personal Librarian" by Marie Benedict at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 19.

Other programs are as follows: seated line dancing on Wednesdays from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m.; Creative Craniums on Tuesdays from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. for four weeks starting Jan. 10; Chair Lablast, starting in January; and Beginner Hand & Foot Cards, a variation of canasta, for which people may schedule instruction by calling brascina@gmail.com.

Country Meadows 1-2-1 Club offerings include a program about robotic arm assisted joint replacements on Thursday, Nov. 10, and holiday bingo on Thursday, Dec. 8.
