Lancaster Heart Ball planned

The 2023 Lancaster Heart Ball will be held on Saturday, March 25, at 6 p.m. at the Lancaster Country Club, 1466 New Holland Pike, Lancaster. The annual celebratory event honors survivors, patrons and volunteers of the American Heart Association.

The event's dinner program will be hosted by WGAL's Katelyn Smith and will feature the presentation of the annual Live Fierce Award to Darrell Fisher, president of the Lancaster County EMS Council. In addition to silent and live auctions, guests will have the opportunity to support the mission of the American Heart Association through the Open Your Heart appeal, featuring the stories of local residents Greg Orth, a cardiac arrest survivor, and Rory Fuller, a congenital heart defect survivor.

The dollars raised by the Lancaster Heart Ball fund the mission of the American Heart Association to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives while working toward the association's 2024 Health Equity Impact Goal of reducing barriers to health care access and quality.
