Knights of Columbus Council 10502 from Church of the Holy Spirit in Palmyra held its 10th annual Spirit Scramble at Iron Valley Golf Course on Aug. 28. Despite a foggy start to the day, the event was sold out. Golfers not only had a morning on the links, but also lunch and the opportunity to bid on numerous silent auction items from various sports teams and individuals.

The council uses the proceeds from the event not only for the church, but also for various community donations. Recently the council helped fund a service dog from Susquehanna Service Dogs for an individual in need, and the council also donated funds for wheelchairs for veterans.
