Elizabethtown Area High School senior Madison Johns has been named the Elizabethtown Lions Club Student of the Month for January. To be considered for this honor, students must be enrolled in the Lancaster County Career & Technology Center (LCCTC) and exhibit exceptional work ethic, skills, and knowledge in their respective subject areas.

Madison, the daughter of Eric and Angela Johns of Elizabethtown, is enrolled in the Advanced Health Careers program at LCCTC's Mount Joy campus. She has been accepted to the Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences, where she plans to pursue a bachelor's degree in nursing with a focus on oncology.

Beyond her academic pursuits, Madison is a member of the National Technical Honor Society - Mount Joy Chapter, serves as a SkillsUSA officer, and acts as a Student Ambassador for the Mount Joy LCCTC campus.
