A hymn sing will be held on Sunday, Sept. 26, at 7 p.m. at Memorial United Methodist Church, 101 S. Hess St., Quarryville. Members of the Lancaster Chapter of the American Guild of Organists will provide accompaniment. People may attend the event in person or watch a livestream with links at http://www.lancasterago.org or http://www.quarryville.church.

Some of the hymns will be selected by the organists and will include nifty introductions, reharmonizations, and arrangements of the hymn tunes. Other hymns will be selected by audience members. The organ is a relatively new three-manual Walker Digital instrument. Attendees may sing along or just listen.

There is no admission cost, and a freewill offering will be received.
