LancasterHistory will offer History Happy Hour on Thursday, Aug. 27, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Exchange at the Marriott Lancaster Penn Square, 25 S. Queen St., Lancaster. History Happy Hour combines a history presentation with a relaxed social atmosphere.

The upcoming program, "Same Streets, Different Century," will be presented by LancasterHistory historian and curator Stephanie Townrow. Looking out over the streets below, Townrow will speak about the people, taverns, markets, and businesses that animated Lancaster's historic center in the 1700s and 1800s.

Tickets include one drink, appetizers, and admission to the program. The event is recommended for people age 21 and older. Guests must be at least 21 to consume alcoholic beverages.
