The East Petersburg Historical Society will host a program, "50 Years of the East Petersburg Historical Society: How It Began," on Monday, June 1, at 7 p.m. at the East Petersburg Community Center building at East Petersburg Community Park, 6051 Pine St.

The program will cover the events and actions that convinced East Petersburg citizens to create the historical society.
