Historical Society Posts Activities

The Manheim Historical Society has posted its upcoming activities. On Saturday, May 9, Master Gardener Susan Atkins will present "Vegetable Gardening on a Budget" at 3 p.m. at the Fasig House, 30 E. High St. Admission is free. Also on May 9, tours of the Fasig House and the Keath House, 32 E. High St., will be available from 1 to 3 p.m., and a 45-minute historical walking tour will start at 1:30 p.m., weather permitting.

Storyteller and musician Matthew Dodd will present "Songs and Stories of the Revolutionary War" at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, at the Manheim Railroad Station, 210 S. Charlotte St. In addition, tours of the railroad station will be available from 1 to 4 p.m. Visitors may ride the Birney trolley and explore the model railroad display. A 45-minute historical walking tour will start at 3:10 p.m., weather permitting.
