Historical Society Plans Book Sale

The annual Bookworm Frolic will take place on Thursday and Friday, Sept. 16 and 17, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 18, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society, 2215 Millstream Road, Lancaster.

The sale's 40,000 books will be sorted by category, such as history, biography, children's, fiction, religious, Christian fiction, and more. Separate fees have been set for hardback books and for paperback books. On Saturday, the books will be half-price, or customers can fill a box for a set fee. Customers may make payments with a credit card, cash, or a check. Proceeds will benefit the historical society's mission to promote history through storytelling.

The bulk of the book selection will be featured outdoors under a large tent. Masks will be required if attendees go indoors to browse the overflow or visit the museum store.
