Heather Heltzinger of Birdsboro participated in the 189th Philadelphia Flower Show in June, winning two blue ribbons and the Best of Blues award. She was a first-time entrant in this show, which was the last of the outdoor shows.

In March 2023, at the Philadelphia convention center, Heltzinger will defend her title at the Philadelphia Flower Show with a 12-by-16-foot garden room. Fellow members of the Elverson Garden Club will compete, as well.

In addition to being a gardener, Heltzinger is an artist and entrepreneur.
