GSM Industrial, a third-generation business specializing in industrial fabrication and mechanical contracting, has announced the acquisition of Light's Welding, a family-owned business based in Annville, which specializes in welding and repair services for the agricultural sector. The acquisition was finalized on Oct. 31.

GSM Industrial, founded in 1946, has long served the industrial sector, while Light's Welding, founded in 1948, has built a strong reputation within the agricultural market. The acquisition represents a union of similar services across distinct industries, combining the strengths and expertise of both businesses to deliver enhanced capabilities.

Both companies will continue to operate as usual, with terms and pricing of the acquisition remaining undisclosed.
