What is the mission of South Central York County Senior Center?

The mission of the South Central York County Senior Center is to establish and maintain a senior center by providing programs to facilitate the social, emotional, economic, and physical well-being of our senior citizens, regardless of race, religion, or nationality.

Why is the senior center excited to participate in Give Local York this year?

Give Local York gives us a platform to tell the story of how we serve the senior citizens of southcentral York County. No senior should wake up food insecure with nowhere to go and no one to talk to. We provide a safe and welcoming place for seniors to gather with friends and neighbors to talk, play games, learn new crafts, and share a meal. For those who cannot join us, our friendly volunteers greet our homebound seniors with a smile and deliver nutritious meals. All funds raised on May 1 will go to continuing our very vital mission.
