What is the mission of Pal's Park?

The vision of Holden Feeser, a York Academy second-grader, Pal's Park will bring an off-leash community dog park to a 1-acre (currently unused) parcel along the County Rail Trail in the heart of York city. According to the American Veterinary Medical Association, there are 6,195 dog-owning households and 9,913 dogs in York city.

Why is the organization excited to participate in Give Local York this year?

The community has generously supported the creation of Pal's Park through crowdfunding efforts beginning last spring. We are thrilled that our neighbors want a place for pups to play as much as we do, and we are so grateful for the community support.
