What is the mission of Kavanna House?

Kavanna House is a nonprofit spiritual formation center designed to offer individuals the means to move into deeper intimacy with God. "Kavanna" is a Hebrew word meaning intentional, awakened, mindful, and devoted to prayer.

Why is the organization excited to participate in Give Local York this year?

Kavanna House is excited to participate because Give Local York is not just a fundraiser for area nonprofit organizations but also a very effective way to raise the awareness of the work being done by so many worthy nonprofit organizations in our community.
