What is the mission of Hanover Lancers Drum & Bugle Corps?

The Lancers Drum & Bugle Corps provides a multi-generational ensemble of brass and percussion instrumentalists, as well as visual performers, committed to educating and enriching the lives of both performer and listener. Through skilled musical and organizational leadership and the dedication of its members, the Lancers maintain a rich heritage of drum corps performance at the highest level, engaging both the greater York community and audiences throughout the mid-Atlantic region.

Why is the organization excited to participate in Give Local York this year?

It's our 100th anniversary! The Lancers have been representing Hanover and greater York County both locally and regionally since 1920. We enjoy presenting the charisma and exhilaration of experiencing drum and bugle corps to audience members of all ages and hope to continue our mission for another 100 years!
