GEARS will offer several activities. Unless otherwise noted, separate fees have been set for GEARS members and for nonmembers. Registration and details are available at http://www.getintogears.org or by calling 717-367-0355.

An All-Comers Track Meet will be open to runners of all ages, speeds, and abilities. The non-sanctioned, non-qualifying meet will be held on Thursday, July 29, at 6 p.m. at the track at Elizabethtown Area High School, 600 E. High St., Elizabethtown. There is an entry fee per person for up to three events.

Team registrations will be accepted for the fall Coed Slow-Pitch Softball League. The registration deadline is Friday, Aug. 27. League play will take place on Mondays through Thursdays from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. and will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 7, and run through early November. Each team will play a 10-game schedule with playoffs. There is a fee per team.

Games will be held on Mondays between 6:30 and 10:30 p.m. Teams will play a 10-match season with playoffs. There is a fee per team.

An Intro to Medicare will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 18. The basics of Medicare will be explained, and the program will walk attendees through how to find a plan that best fits their needs.
