Intro to Kayaking will take place on Saturday, June 6, from noon to 2 p.m. at Chiques Rock Outfitters, 1028 River Road, Columbia. The guided paddle on the Susquehanna River will include basic paddling instruction and safety. Separate fees have been set to rent either a single or tandem sit-on-top kayak that has a large, ergonomic cockpit. The program is open to people age 12 and up, and the deadline to register is Friday, May 29.

A Girls' Basketball Camp, for girls entering grades three through eight, will be held from Monday to Thursday, June 15 to 18, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. in Daubert Gym at Elizabethtown Area High School (EAHS), 600 E. High St., Elizabethtown. This camp will focus on the fundamentals of the game. Coaches will stress the basics of dribbling, shooting, passing, and more. A T-shirt is included in the fee.

Parent and Child Swimming will take place on Saturdays, June 6 to Aug. 1, with no class on July 4. Sessions will be offered from 8 to 8:30 a.m. for children ages 6 to 24 months and from 8:40 to 9:10 a.m. for children ages 2 to 3 years old. A parent or guardian must participate in the pool with each child. This class is designed to help young children feel comfortable in and around the water. Both classes will be held at the Masonic Village Patton Pool, 1244 Bainbridge Road, Elizabethtown.
