Second Grace will host its inaugural Grace Golden Hour fundraising dinner on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 6 to 10 p.m. at High Cross Farm, 1610 Landis Road, Mount Joy. All proceeds will benefit Second Grace, a local nonprofit that provides mentorship, education, and employment support to single mothers to help make lasting change in their lives and the lives of their children.

Doors will open and drinks and appetizers will be available at 6 p.m. A dinner featuring artisan pizzas made in a wood-fired oven along with salads will be served at 7 p.m. The meal will be catered by Feather Pizza and the Gathering Place. While attendees enjoy dessert, including ice cream, they will hear about the work of Second Grace and stories of the mentors involved in the program.

The event will also include an opportunity to donate to Second Grace, music by the Sound of Roses band, dancing, a giveaway drawing, a silent auction featuring baskets from local businesses and other items, and a professional photographer. Wine, beer, soda, and water will be available free of charge; attendees are encouraged to tip the volunteer bartenders.
