Fundraiser to Support Service Dog Program

Throughout November, United Disabilities Service Foundation (UDS) will hold a Pizza for a Purpose fundraiser in partnership with Pizzeria Luca, 1200 Christopher Place, Lancaster.

Ten percent of all sales of November's featured pie, the stellina, will go directly to the service dog program. The stellina is a star-shaped margherita pizza with a ricotta-stuffed crust. Online orders may be placed at https://order.toasttab.com/online/pizzeria-luca-1200-christopher-place.

In addition, Pizzeria Luca will host a meet-and-greet on Tuesday, Nov. 17, from 4 to 6 p.m. on the restaurant's enclosed patio. Attendees may meet the UDS service dogs in training and their handlers and learn how service dogs help individuals to have greater independence.
