The Heather Pierson Acoustic Trio will perform at Friends Folk Club at St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, 116 Lancaster Pike, Oxford, at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 7. Friends Folk Club, established in 1986, is an all-volunteer, community run concert series. Doors will open at 7 p.m.

The trio's live performances feature three-part vocal harmonies and Pierson's multi-genre songwriting. The performers draw on their respective experiences with jazz, blues and folk music.
