Friends' Annual Book Sale Set

The Friends of the Hershey Public Library have announced that their annual book sale will return with COVID-19 precautions in place on Saturday, July 31, through Tuesday, Aug. 3, during regular library hours. The sale will take place outside in the library's Reading Garden and inside the library meeting rooms. The library is located at 701 Cocoa Ave., Hershey.

There will be one-way traffic flow to help with social distancing. Masks or face coverings will be required at the library and in the Reading Garden for those who are unvaccinated in accordance with CDC guidelines.

On July 31, the library will add a Summer Block Party to the mix with outdoor games, food, and beverages from 2 to 5 p.m. The book sale will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

On Sunday, Aug. 1, the sale will run from 1 to 5 p.m., and the library will remain closed. A two-for-one special will be featured on Monday, Aug. 2, and the sale will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The sale will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Aug. 3 and will feature a whole bag or box of books for one price.
