Smokehouse BBQ & Brews has announced that it will present Live Music Nights at Plain & Fancy Farm - a free outdoor summer concert series designed to bring together local music, food and the experience of being outdoors in Lancaster County.

Hosted on the lawn at Plain & Fancy Farm, 3121 Old Philadelphia Pike, Bird-in-Hand, the monthly concerts will be held every third Thursday from May through August, from 6 to 8 p.m. Guests are invited to enjoy a curated lineup of jazz, blues and Americana in a laid-back, family-friendly atmosphere.

The live music lineup will begin on May 15 with a performance by Hickory Town, a folk-Americana duo from Lancaster known for its soulful harmonies and acoustic storytelling.

Prime Example, a five-piece jazz band blending swing, bebop, and blues, will be featured on June 19.

The Cat's Pajamas are scheduled to perform on July 17. This six-piece jazz band will channel the roaring '20s and golden age of swing with a smooth saxophone and bold brass instruments.

The series will conclude with Fever Pitch on Aug. 21 The six-piece band performs high-energy pop, rock and soul.

Concertgoers can enjoy Smokehouse BBQ & Brews' special outdoor dining menu and beverages from the outdoor bar, including beer, wine and cocktails. Picnic tables will be available for seating, or attendees may bring their own blankets or lawn chairs and take part in casual lawn games.

Admission is free, and people of all ages are welcome. In the case of inclement weather, the shows will be moved indoors.
