Foundation receives donation

Representatives from Lancaster County Motors Subaru (LCM Subaru) presented a check to the Lancaster County Career & Technology Foundation (LCCTF) on Nov. 29. Service director Ross Rodruan and shop foreman Pat Bonner from LCM Subaru visited the Lancaster County Career & Technology Center (LCCTC) Willow Street campus to present the $10,000 check to the foundation to be used toward the automotive program.

This donation gives LCCTC students the opportunity to work on a variety of vehicles to build their experience and expertise. During his visit, Rodruan explained how this donation continues Subaru's mission for charitable giving by providing students with the opportunity to train on the latest technology in order to be successful following graduation. The cause is particularly meaningful for Bonner as he is an LCCTC automotive program alumnus. Bonner spent his co-op at LCM and has built a career there 20 years later.

The LCCTF was formed in 2003 with the mission to ensure the LCCTC has the materials, equipment and funding to provide the best in career training for high school and adult students. Over the last 20 years, the foundation has raised $7 million dollars to support the programs and students of the LCCTC.
