Foundation Plans Ice Cream Social, Concert

The Lititz Historical Foundation (LHF) will host its annual ice cream social, including a free concert by Bad Slice, in its Mary Oehme Gardens on Sunday, Aug. 31. The show will begin at 6:30 p.m. The entertainment is being sponsored by Tiger's Eye of Lititz.

Bad Slice, winner of the Rock Lititz 2022 Battle of the Bands, is comprised of Joe Fuscia on drums, Connor Smith on bass, Glenn Hollenbach on guitar and Chad Marriott on keys and lead vocals.

The foursome covers hits from the '70s and '80s, with fresh arrangements that keep audiences guessing. The band will perform musical numbers from musicians such as Genesis, Tears for Fears, Yes, The Cars, Michael Jackson, Talking Heads, U2, The Police and Toto.

Ice cream, provided by Greco's of Lititz, will be available by donation. Refreshments will also be available for a small fee.

Attendees are advised to bring lawn chairs for seating. Donations will be accepted.

The gardens are located behind 145 E. Main St., Lititz. Those with questions may call 717-627-4636 or email info@lititzhistoricalfoundation.com.
