The Hershey Lions Club Foundation will hold its 32nd annual Henry F. Nixon Memorial Amateur Golf Tournament on Saturday, June 5, at 1 p.m. at the Manada Golf Club, 609 Golf Lane, Grantville.

The event raises funds to benefit projects of the Hershey Lions Club Foundation, including eye exams and glasses, sponsorship of youth sports teams, support for the Hershey Food Bank, student backpacks, and student scholarship awards. Last year's event drew about 70 golfers, which event chair Pete Van Zandt said was the event's best attendance in years. Over the course of its history, the event has raised almost $150,000, all of which has benefited the community.
