The Big E Booster Club will hold a Food Truck Fundraiser on Wednesday, July 21, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the parking lot of the former Kmart, 1605 S. Market St., Elizabethtown. The club is holding its inaugural summer fundraiser in order to make up for lost funds from 2020.

The vendors for the event are Blazing Swine Barbecue, Good Life Ice Cream & Treats, Wich Way Sandwiches, Mac Stack and Fuego Latino. They will sell a variety foods, including pulled pork sandwiches, paninis, macaroni and cheese bowls, Latin dishes and ice cream. All vendors will conduct in-person food sales, except Blazing Swine Barbecue. Tickets for Blazing Swine dinners can be purchased in advance by finding the event post on the "Big E Booster Club Elizabethtown PA" Facebook page. Each Blazing Swine meal will include pulled pork, a bun, coleslaw, a bag of chips and a bottle of water.

The Big E Booster Club is a nonprofit made up of volunteer parents who support student-athletes, coaches and teams in the Elizabethtown Area School District. The club funds the Senior Athlete Parent Night, the John Lehman Memorial Award scholarship, Championship Awards, varsity jackets and end-of-season plaques.
