The Grantville Area Food Pantry will celebrate 25 years of service to the surrounding communities with an open house on Sunday, Oct. 20, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Faith United Church of Christ, 117 N. Faith Road, Grantville.

The pantry is a mission of the Grantville Ministerium, which includes Faith United Church of Christ, New Life Assembly of God, Shells Evangelical Lutheran Church, and St. John's United Methodist Church. The pantry is run solely by volunteers and operates on donations from the community and local businesses.

Donations of food and personal hygiene items are accepted at the pantry on Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Fridays from 10 a.m. to noon. For information on how to make a monetary contribution, email foodpantry.117@gmail.com or call 717-469-2444 or 717-469-4176.
