Flavorfest set at Mount Hope

Flavorfest at Mount Hope Estate & Winery, 2775 Lebanon Road, Manheim, will be held on the grounds of the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire on Saturday and Sunday, May 27 and 28, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

To best serve Flavorfest guests, date-specific admission tickets are available at http://www.parenfaire.com/flavorfest.html in advance only. Admission includes a logoed tasting glass and unlimited sampling with participating wineries and distilleries.

Twenty-seven wineries will provide samples and sales of many of their varietals. Eight distilleries will be on hand to provide samples and sell their craft spirits. With the general admission adult ticket, guests will receive an official Flavorfest logoed tasting glass to enjoy samples. Guest purchases from the wineries and distilleries will be packed and transported to the Wine Check Tent in the parking area where they can be claimed upon departure from the festival.

A host of artisans will sell their crafts, and unique businesses will showcase their goods and services. A variety of food booths will serve lunch and snack items throughout the grounds. For beer and cider lovers, Swashbuckler Brewing Company will serve Swashbuckler Beers and Lancaster County Ciders. Signature cocktails by Mount Hope Estate's Spirits Distilling Co. will also be available.

There will be separate admission fees for adults and youths ages 12 to 20. Children age 11 and under will be admitted free of charge. Tickets are date-specific, non-refundable and valid only on the date shown on the ticket. Flavorfest is a rain or shine event. For event details and tickets, visit the aforementioned website.
