The New Holland Area Historical Society will host an exhibit chronicling the history of Garden Spot Village (GSV). The exhibit - which is on loan from the Archive Room at GSV - will be on display through Wednesday, Sept. 30. It was curated by Ken Wendal.

GSV was started more than 30 years ago when Victor F. Weaver and Ivan Martin conceived of the idea to establish a retirement home for local people. Victor's son, Dale, along with Aaron Hollinger, Raymond Hurst, and Martin Weaver, carried the vision forward and broke ground in 1994.
