Following weeks of remodeling, Everence Federal Credit Union (EFCU) unveiled its newly reimagined branch in Mount Joy to serve members in innovative and streamlined ways.
During an open house on March 26, the community was invited to see the new configuration at 960 E. Main St. Attendees enjoyed refreshments, entertainment and giveaways.
The EFCU Mount Joy branch has transitioned into a new concierge model in acknowledgment of the changes in banking transactions, which are increasingly occurring through digital channels.
Highlights in the newly designed space include a conversation room with comfortable seating for private conversations and the ability to produce on-the-spot debit cards. The space also includes a full-service video banking room, through which members will be able to do anything from performing everyday account transactions to applying for a loan. Through video banking, members will have access to real-time, private video chats with a member services representative to help complete their transactions.
In addition to the video banking services, members can use an outdoor deposit-taking ATM open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Branch hours are on Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with after-hours appointments available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
