ECHOS Receives Grant

Elizabethtown Community Housing & Outreach Services (ECHOS) has received a grant from the Elizabethtown Rotary Club.

The club's support provided a stackable washer and dryer for the ECHOS Enrichment Center as it expands into a new building in the Community Place on Washington complex, which is anticipated this fall. These appliances will allow guests in need at the Enrichment Center to have clean clothes for job interviews, work, personal hygiene, and quality of life. The local Rotary Club also advocated on ECHOS' behalf and secured a matching contribution from District Rotary 7390, allowing ECHOS to purchase a second washer and dryer set.

Beyond financial support, local Rotarians frequently donate their time, volunteering for ECHOS in a variety of ways, including cleaning ECHOS' offices and program apartments.
