Eastern York High School will celebrate homecoming before the school's football game against Susquehannock High School on Friday, Oct. 15. A homecoming dance will be held on Saturday, Oct. 16. The candidates for homecoming queen are Aubrey Buchanan, Sadie Buser, Teirini Doll, Breana Grim, Evelyn Whiteside and Victoria Zerbe. Homecoming king candidates are Bryce Currier, Logan Dodson, Brody Hinkle, Ethan Nickel, Jordan Peters, Anthony Roselli and Ludovico Solaro.

Aubrey is the daughter of Travis Strausbaugh and Lorissa St. Clair of Hellam. She is president of FFA and is a member of Student Council, Mini-THON and the Interact, Varsity, SADD and yearbook clubs. After graduation, she plans to attend college to major in biology with a focus in zoology and botany.

Sadie is the daughter of Michele Buser of Wrightsville and the late Richard Buser. She is an executive member of Student Council and Mini-THON and is a member of the National Honor Society (NHS). She is president of SADD and is a member of the Varsity, recycling and yearbook clubs. She also plays lacrosse and varsity basketball. Outside of school, she volunteers as a coach with the U6 Hellam Ravens soccer team and participates in York Thunder AAU basketball. She plans to attend college to major in biochemistry with the goal of becoming a dentist.

Teirini is the daughter of Sheena and Nathan Smeltzer of East Prospect and Shannon Doll of Hellam. She is captain of the volleyball team, is a cheerleader and plays basketball and lacrosse. She is also a member of Student Council. After graduation, she plans to attend Shippensburg University to major in criminal justice.

Breana is the daughter of James Grim and Rebekah Grim of Lower Windsor. She is a member of NHS, Student Council and Mini-THON as well as the SADD and Varsity clubs. She also plays varsity basketball. Outside of school, she plays travel basketball. After graduation, she plans to attend college to major in business marketing.

Evelyn is the daughter of Erick and Memie Whiteside of Wrightsville. She is a member of the tennis team, Student Council, NHS and the Interact and ski clubs. After graduation, she plans to attend college to study biology, with the goal of becoming a physician.

Victoria is the daughter of Mark and Anne Zerbe of Hellam. She is secretary of NHS, a member of Varsity Club and president and photographer of the yearbook club. She is a member of the chorus and FFA and plays varsity basketball. She is also the captain of the varsity lacrosse team. Outside of school, she volunteers with 2nd Chance 4 Life Dog Rescue. She plans to attend college to earn a degree in business administration and play basketball or lacrosse

Bryce is the son of Leslie Currier of Hellam. He is captain of the varsity football team and participates with the track and field team. He served as class president his sophomore year and is a member of the metalworking club. After graduation, he plans to attend college to major in finance and play football.

Logan is the son of Victor and Michelle Dodson of East Prospect. He is a member of the Varsity Club and the football, basketball and track teams. He plans to attend West Chester University to major in finance.

Brody is the son of Chad and Kyle Hinkle of Wrightsville. He is captain of the varsity football team and plays varsity baseball. He is an executive member of Student Council and Mini-THON and serves on the Principal's Council. Outside of school, he plays Susquehanna League baseball with the Hallam Express. After graduation, he plans to attend college to major in business administration and play baseball.

Ethan is the son of Nathan Nickel and Bobbi Nickel of Wrightsville. He is a member of the golf team. Outside of school, he races motorcycles for Action Motorsports. He plans to attend college to major in golf management and business management and to play golf.

Jordan is the son of Robert and Donna Peters of Windsor. He is a member of the golf team and plays ice hockey outside of school. After graduation, he plans to attend Shippensburg University.

Anthony, of Wrightsville, is the son of Jason and Amanda Dixon and Sara Roselli. He is a member of the cross-country, track and field and indoor track teams. He performs with the wind ensemble, orchestra and marching, jazz and concert bands. He is a member of FFA, Student Council, Dollars for Scholars and the tech crew. He has been a member of Interact Club. Outside of school, he participates in the York Road Runner winter series and is an active member of York LCBC Church. He plans to attend college to possibly study engineering or meteorology and run cross-country.

Ludovico is an exchange student from Italy. He is the son of Alberto Solaro and Simona Vaira. He lives in East Prospect with his host parents, Mike Snedden and Bladen Barrett. He is a member of Student Council.
