Dramatists Announce Play Readings

Creative Works of Lancaster and the Lancaster Dramatists' Platform will present readings of new plays by local playwrights on Sunday, Nov. 20, at 2 p.m. at Phantom Power, 121 W. Frederick St., Millersville.

After a hiatus for several years, members of the Lancaster Dramatists' Platform will share their work with an audience. The event will feature pieces by Josh P. Cohen, Caleb Corkery, Kasia Jakubiak, Kerri Kochanski, and Adam Richter. The plays will be performed as readings by local actors.

Creative Works of Lancaster, a nonprofit providing nomadic theatrical encounters in and around Lancaster, has been the Lancaster Dramatists' Platform's fiscal sponsor since 2010. The two groups have collaborated extensively.

Tickets are pay-what-you-decide following the performance. To reserve tickets in advance, visit http://www.creativelancaster.org. Tickets will also be available at the door. To learn more about the Lancaster Dramatists' Platform, visit http://www.lancasterdramatists.org.
