The combined efforts of Caden Evans, Brock Hammaker and Zachary Park proved too tough for EasternYork's baseball team on Friday, March 31 as the Donegal Indians defeated the Golden Knights 8-0.

The Barons scored those two runs in the top of the third inning of the L-L League game at Mount Joy. They made it a 3-0 lead before the Indians battled back with a two-spot in the home half of the sixth inning. Central's Cael Martin came on late in the game to record the save.

"There were many great individual results," added the coach. "Caleb Kendig won the shot put with a personal best 46-foot-6. He also won the javelin and was third in the discus."

Another bright spot came in the girls' meet with 4x100 relay teammates Faith Garber, Sophia Floyd, Peyton Mansfield, and Anna Brubaker.

"They ran the eighth fastest time in school history," Koser noted.
