Dinner to benefit community center

The Lancaster Church of the Brethren, 1601 Sunset Ave., Lancaster, will host a drive-through pork barbecue dinner to benefit the ministries of the Alpha and Omega Community Center. The fundraiser will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 12.

Catered by Peters' Barbecue, the takeout meal will include a pulled pork sandwich with barbecue sauce, a homemade roll, a baked potato, and applesauce. Drinks are not included. There is a fee, and additional donations are welcome. Last year's event raised more than $2,000 for the community center.

Preorders are strongly encouraged, as a limited number of meals will be available for purchase on the day of the event. To preorder, contact Carolyn Fitzkee no later than Wednesday, April 2, at dcfitzkee@gmail.com or 717-682-1762.
