Red Rose Chapter 80 of the Disabled American Veterans (D.A.V.) will begin sponsoring a monthly veterans' luncheon, with the first luncheon planned for Tuesday, Nov. 2, at the Lancaster Farm and Home Center, 1383 Arcadia Road, Lancaster.
Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. for attendees to visit display tables by organizations related to veterans. The buffet luncheon, which will begin at 1 p.m., will be provided by Hess's Barbecue Catering of Willow Street. There will also be a drawing, a Chinese auction, and door prizes.
The monthly luncheons will feature guest speakers sharing about topics relevant to veterans. The guest speaker for the November luncheon will be Samuel Petrovich, Pennsylvania D.A.V. state adjutant.
The luncheon is open to all honorably discharged veterans from any time period and any branch of service. Their spouses and guests are also welcome to attend.

The December luncheon is slated for Tuesday, Dec. 7, and the guest speaker will be Ronald Frankum, history professor at Millersville University.
