Conestoga Valley High School senior William Burgess represented his school at the LLMEA County Chorus Festival earlier this year and played the guitar at the first-ever PMEA District Modern Band Festival on April 1 and 2 at Spring Grove High School. Burgess also arranged a choral piece and conducted it for the high school's concert in early March.

After graduation, Burgess plans to enlist in the Navy. He expects to leave for basic training in June.
