PA Central Federal Credit Union (FCU) will host a Shred It Event on Thursday, Oct. 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at PA Central's Palmyra Branch on Main Street in Palmyra. The event will be held rain or shine. PA Central FCU members and the community are invited to have any unneeded documents securely destroyed. Shredding will be done on-site. Shredding can help to prevent identity theft.

The free event is a fundraising effort for the Caring Cupboard Food Pantry in Palmyra. Participants are asked to make a monetary donation to the Caring Cupboard in lieu of a shred fee.
