Hempfield Youth Association (HYA) Softball will host a Cornhole Tournament Extravaganza on Sunday, Oct. 8, at Trio Bar and Grill, 3707 Marietta Ave., Columbia (West Hempfield Township). The event will start at noon, with the first game kicking off at 1 p.m.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams. The event will also include giveaway drawings and a prize wheel, and attendees may watch NFL games at the outdoor patio bar.

Proceeds will benefit HYA Softball, which seeks to cultivate well-rounded young athletes through recreational softball.
