Harvest Presbyterian Church, 517 Beaver Valley Pike, Lancaster, will celebrate the United States' 250th anniversary with two events. Admission is free to both events, and light refreshments will be served.

The church will host a patriotic concert on Friday, July 3, at 7 p.m. Local tenor soloist and pianist Brenten Megee will present music focused on God and one's country.

The Sight & Sound movie "A Great Awakening" will be screened on Saturday, July 11, at 7 p.m. The movie tells the true story of an unlikely friendship that resulted in a defining moment in American history.
