Company announces promotions, new hire

The Investment Real Estate Group of Companies (IREGC) recently announced two promotions and a new hire.

Justin Quinto was promoted to vice president of acquisitions and asset management. Quinto joined IREGC in 2018 as a brokerage adviser but has worked in the self-storage industry for more than 20 years. He has been involved in the operations of facilities throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, working for several large Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) companies. During his time as a brokerage adviser, he took part in more than $100 million in self-storage transactions. The IREGC asset management department is responsible for overseeing the acquisition process, including the onboarding of new assets, the identification of revenue enhancement opportunities, capital improvement project management and signage installation.

As the leader of the acquisitions department, Quinto will oversee the research, evaluation and selection of properties for acquisition into the Moove In Self Storage portfolio. He will work to align the portfolio with IREGC's goals and needs and will enhance team efficiency by encouraging communication between cross-functional team members.

Elizabeth "Liz" Kirchner was promoted to human resources (HR) coordinator. Kirchner joined Moove In Self Storage in 2020 as a property manager and quickly proved her dedication to growing with the company and learning more about the industry. After only a year in that role, she was named Property Manager of the Year in 2021. When the IREGC HR department was formed in early 2023 and the HR coordinator position opened up, Kirchner applied for the position.

As the HR coordinator, Kirchner will be responsible for maintaining employee files and personnel-related data, tracking the annual performance review process, assisting in the coordination and implementation of employee orientation, overseeing training programs, overseeing compensation and benefits and completing employment eligibility verification forms.

Alex Rhodes was hired as an accounts payable specialist. Rhodes will be responsible for the intake and approval of invoices for the accounts payable department. He will also be tasked with invoice entry and vendor payments for Moove In Self Storage facilities. His day-to-day duties will include resolving internal and external vendor inquiries, coding invoices prior to their entrance into the accounting system and processing weekly checks, transfers, online vendor portals, wires and ACH payments. Prior to joining IREGC, Rhodes worked at several companies in their accounting departments. He is pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting.

Founded in 1998, the IREGC has more than 100 employees developing, building, acquiring and operating more than 65 facilities under the brand name Moove In Self Storage across New England and the Mid-Atlantic states. For more information, visit https://irellc.com.
