Goodwill United Methodist Church, 148 Church Road, Elverson, will host its second chicken barbecue of the year on Saturday, June 6, from noon to 3 p.m. or until sold out. The church is celebrating over 70 years of hosting community barbecues in Elverson.

Each meal will include a half-chicken, a baked potato, green beans, applesauce, a roll, a drink, and dessert. Children's meals will be available for a lower fee. A portion of the proceeds will benefit charitable efforts that help people in need.
