Pequea Church, 5482 Old Philadelphia Pike, Gap, has planned two events, starting with an indoor movie night on Friday, Dec. 9, at 6:30 p.m. The church will show "The Santa Clause" and provide free snacks, including popcorn, and hot chocolate.

An old-fashioned hymn sing and a presentation from a special speaker will take place on Sunday, Dec. 11, at 3 p.m. Requests will be taken for hymns. The speaker, the Rev. Jeff Byerly, came to faith in Jesus at Pequea Church and has dedicated the past 30 years to pastoral ministry. This event is a part of the church's continuing celebration of its 145th anniversary.
