Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 107 S. 17th Ave., Coatesville, now offers nonperishable food items through its Blessings Box to help people in need in the community. The box is also stocked with toiletries and personal care products. People are welcome to take what they need and leave what they can.

Donations for the Blessings Box will be accepted, such as canned tuna and chicken, peanut butter, soup, pasta, cereal, rice, baby food, toiletries, and hygiene products. Monetary donations are also welcome.

The box was built by one of the church's members for his Eagle project.
